Built here.
Runs fast.
Stays yours.
A fully open-source email, file, and collaboration platform — hosted in Canada, for Canadians.
Your data. Your land. Your rules.
Your tools should work as hard as you do.
When your email and files live on the other side of a border, every click, sync, and send travels further than it needs to — and that distance adds up in lag and a workday that feels a little slower than it should.
Canadian-hosted infrastructure keeps your data close to where you actually work: faster load times, snappier sync, push that actually pushes.
And we are not built on top of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. No hyperscaler middlemen, no shared fate when the big platforms have a bad day — just our own infrastructure, run by our own team, in Canada.
Battle-tested. Community-owned. Yours.
Email, files, calendars, office documents, and mobile sync — every component is open source and free from corporate lock-in.
Questions, answered.
What is OSMail?
OSMail is Canadian-hosted, open-source email, files, and collaboration. You get managed mailboxes on your own domain, built on Postfix, Dovecot, Nextcloud, and Collabora, running on infrastructure in Canada. Your data. Your land. Your rules.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely in Canada, on infrastructure we own and operate. We are not built on top of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, so your mail stays close, fast, and under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
Can you migrate my existing email?
Yes. We handle guided migration from your current provider, including mailboxes, folders, contacts, and calendars, with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and deliverability configured correctly.
Is OSMail really open source?
Yes. The entire stack is open source and free of vendor lock-in: Postfix, Dovecot, Nextcloud, Collabora, Z-Push, Rspamd, ClamAV, and OpenLDAP. No proprietary black boxes.
What does it cost?
Plans are scoped to your team's domains, mailboxes, and migration needs, so we quote to fit. We also offer a one-time Email Deliverability Audit for 300 CAD. Get in touch and we will put together a plan.
Who is OSMail for?
Canadian businesses, teams, and privacy-conscious individuals who want professional email and collaboration on their own domain, hosted in Canada, without Big Tech in the middle.
This is what Canadian infrastructure looks like.
Open source. Transparent. Fast. Independent. Hosted on home soil by a team that has been at this since 2011.
We own our stack top to bottom — no rented cloud underneath us, no upstream outage taking us down with it. When the hyperscalers have a rough week, that is not your problem.
Choose Canadian. Keep it close. Keep it fast. Keep it yours.
